Irit Shamgar
Received a degree in Architecture from Haifa’s Polytechnic and in Film from Tel Aviv University. She works as a journalist and film critic for Maariv newspaper. She has advised on many film events including the Haifa International Film Festival and the Cuban Film Week. She is an expert of the Israel-America Foundation and a teacher. Together with Oshra Schwartz she has been awarded at the film festival in Tiberias for the script entitled A Monk from Galilee. Lake ’68 is her debut as a director.
