In the ruined cemetery in Gorlice, in Southern Poland there is the grave of the tzaddik, a holy master, forgotten years ago by the world. For 30 years now devout Meir Moszkowicz climbs on the top of a quiet provincial town cemetery from crowded Bnei Brak in Israel. Gorlice is a place, where the meaning of life revealed to Meir along with the mystic presence of his beloved master. So he takes care of master’s grave and the cemetery, he befriends the locals and when he returns to Israel each day wakes up thinking about its holy place. "Yortzeit" tells the miraculous story of the sage, who embarks with love, faith and joy on a difficult trip to Poland.

Born in 1978. Graduated in Humanities, University of Warsaw. Studied film directing at the Sam Spiegel Film & TV School in Jerusalem. Completed an internship at the Lodz Film School. Author of historical and anthropological essays. Her shorts and documentaries are successfully presented at many international film festivals.
