Pakistan is seen as the epicenter of terrorism or as lawlessness associated with the Taliban.These negative stereotypes, created by media, show Pakistan in a distorting mirror. Our film reveals the other face of Pakistan.Lured by mystic music of Nusrat we set out for journey in his footsteps, fascinated by the world where consciousness and existence are determined by a deep faith in God.We find the world of magic, ghosts, and spiritual music.We are looking for a great artist Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, who in addition to a hypnotic voice gave to the world a profound message of spirituality over religions. With every kilometer of the journey we get to know Nusrat closer. “When he sang, he exploded among the stars” – says one of his lover. Gradually built Nusrat image becomes the structure of the film. The spirit of the Master leads us to the remotest corners of the Indus Valley – the cradle of world music. "The essence of this journey is the journey to one God, which is common to all people".

Armand Urbaniak »

Director, photographer and cinematographer. Born in 1970 in Zgorzelec, he graduated from the Television and Film Faculty of the University of Silesia in Katowice, where he studied cinematography. He works on both documentary and feature films.

Tomasz Wysokiński »

Director and screenwriter. Previously an art director, he mounted a few dozen promotional campaigns and happenings in Poland, Germany, Hungary and Malaysia. The experiences gained during his dozen or so years journey to over 50 “third world” countries serve as a material source for his films. He looks for inspiration in other cultures, art and bonds between people. In his daily job he directs, writes and sometimes mans the camera. Director of the films "Incantatio" (2009) oraz "Ikizama" (2008).
