The main characters of this film are residents of the Studzieniec youth detention centre. It is an open facility, resembling a compulsory summer camp rather than a high-security prison. In places like this, the residents are not given sentences in years. They cannot leave until the day of their 21 st birthday. They stay in touch with the outer world mainly by use of a landline phone in the supervisor’s room.

Urodzona w Warszawie. Absolwentka kulturoznawstwa na Uniwersytecie Warszawskim. Obecnie kończy studia na kierunku Reżyseria w Szkole Filmowej w Łodzi. Autorka krótkometrażowych filmów dokumentalnych i fabularnych. Jej dokument Praska 24 wyświetlany był na festiwalach w Polsce i za granicą (międzynarodowa premiera na Ji.hlava IDFF), a film fabularny Karuzela znalazł się w oficjalnej selekcji Tampere Film Festival i festiwalu Transatlantyk. Zajmuje się także tworzeniem teledysków i spotów.
