MY GRAY WORLD

POLISH TITLE: SIWY AMATOR

After another divorce, the protagonist (the photographer) abandons his life in Switzerland and returns to his homeland, traveling alone in a camper van to create an album about Poland. His friendship and cooperation with Krzysztof Kieślowski allowed the photographer to complete his life's work - a photo album documenting Oscar-winning cinematographers. Despite his global success, the photographer feels existential dissatisfaction. At 80, he is still searching for himself. The film is a profound portrait of an outsider and an artist, in which the worlds of film and photography intertwine.
