POINT ZERO

POLISH TITLE: PUNKT ZERO

After a profound personal loss, Aga feels as though her life has been reduced to a starting point. Everything that once defined her everyday reality collapses in an instant — the past loses its meaning, and the future becomes impossible to imagine. As she gradually begins to regain inner balance, fate confronts her with yet another difficult time. A chance for a new beginning emerges through her work with Ukrainian children who have sought refuge in Poland after fleeing the war. Supporting others helps her better understand her own experiences, while raising the question of how many times one can truly start over.

This is a wise and tender film about loss and loneliness, but also about deep human connections and faith in the future. It is a story about the therapeutic power of documentary filmmaking, which allows us to look at ourselves from a distance. Although all the protagonists - including the director - struggle with their own vulnerabilities, "Zero Point" ultimately offers hope and reminds us of the strength that comes from genuine contact with another human being.
