POLISH TITLE: WSZYSCY JESTEŚMY Z WĘGLA
The story of an unemployed Wałbrzych miner, and also an amateur film-maker who, apart from recording baptisms, First Holy Communions, proms, weddings etc., has started to capture the world of poverty around him on film. “Everyone here is dying, but some are still fighting,” says Roman Janiszek. It is these poverty-stricken people that he records with his camera. This is not a film, however, about human poverty, but about human passion.
