POLISH TITLE: NAJBRZYDSZY SAMOCHÓD ŚWIATA
Retired Bogdan has nothing, except 51-years-old wartburg, officially named The Poland's Ugliest Car and nobody, but 94-years-old, mother who want to live only when her son takes her on a journey in his rusty car. Bodan desires to visit a place where his mother was taken as young girl during WWII to work in a nazi labour camp. From his hometown Marki, to Schoenbeck, Germany is about 750 km. Normally it's a one day trip but for them, driving old wartburg it become a long and dangerous journey.

Born in 1984 in Lublin. He is a guitarist by education, a graduate of the F. Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, and a film editor, a graduate of the Film School in Łódź. The Snails, his documentary debut, was made during the DOK PRO course organised by the Andrzej Wajda Master School of Film Directing in Warsaw. The film was developed under the artistic supervision of Jacek Bławut, Marcel Łoziński and Vita Żelakeviciute.
