POLISH DOCUMENTARIES AT FESTIVALS IN SEPTEMBER

In September, after a summer break, Polish documentaries come back to the festival rhythm. A number of Polish documentaries will be shown abroad.

"Dust" by Jakub Radej will be presented this month at three festivals. It will be shown at L’Estrange Festival in France, DMZ Docs in Korea and Quebec City Film Festival in Canada. Another film with three festival screenings is Dariusz Sipowski's documentary "Too-Tash" which will be presented to the audience of Mexico International Short Film Festival, Acampadoc IDFF in Panama and Nevada City Film Festival in the USA.

Three festivals presenting Polish documentaries will take place in September in Bosnia and Herzegovina. "Volte" by Monika Kotecka and Karolina Poryzała will be a guest at Omladinski Film Festival Sarajevo, "Two Worlds" by Maciej Adamek at Al Jazeera Balkans Documentary Film Festival and "Leocadia's Dream" by Krzysztof Nowicki at Jarohina Film Festival.

In September two Polish documentaries will have their Argentinean premiers. "The Gift" by Przemysław Kamiński and "Between Us" by Maciej Miller were invited to the competition at FIDBA Festival in Buenos Aires.

Anastazja Dąbrowska's documentary "Daniel" found its way to the programme of Anyang International Youth Film Festival in Korea and Look&Roll Film Festival in Switzerland. Look&Roll will also present "Close Ties" by Zofia Kowalewska.

In the second half of the month Message to Man festival will take place in Russia. The festival will host the screening of "The Sisters" by Michał Hytroś, while in Albania International Human Rights Film Festival will show "Polonaise" by Agnieszka Elbanowska. In Italy at PerSo Film Festival the audience will see "Collection" by Marcin Polar, and in Finland at Helsinki International Film Festival - "One Two Zero".
