POLISH DOCUMENTARIES IN THESSALONIKI
An impressive ensemble of Polish films can be found in this year's programme of the Thessaloniki International Documentary Festival. The local audience will get the opportunity to see a total of ten productions from Poland.
The Thessaloniki International Documentary Festival was established in 1991. This international event is dedicated to documentary filmmaking, with the organisers' primary aim being to showcase and promote the most significant international documentary productions. Equally important to them are debates and presentations concerning the future of the industry and emerging technologies. The industry section forms an integral part of the event. The festival enjoys the patronage of the Greek Ministry of Culture.
Beyond My Sunny Side by Matylda Kawka and Child of Dust by Weronika Mliczewska, which will premiere in competition (which we wrote about here in greater detail), the Open Horizons section features Abortion Dream Team by Karolina Domagalska, Being Mikołaj by Aurelia Frydrych-Zdanowska, The Faint Clatter of Birds by Franciszek Berbeka, Trains by Maciej Drygas, Bloodline by Wojciech Węglarz, Lift Lady by Marcin Modzelewski, and In My Day by Iga Lis. The Immersive Competition is going to feature User Agreement by Rafał Kruszka.
You can find the complete programme of the event, which started on 6th March, right here.
