Julia Ruszkiewicz

Graduate of screenplay department at Camerimage Film School and Krzysztow Kieślowski's department of directing at the University of Silesia in Poland. The author of several student's films (“Master's return” “World Bar” “Wild Duck Season”). Her Graduation movie “Wild duck season” won multiple film prizes worldwide, and was screened during many film festivals. Among others awarded with: Grand Prix at the Lille Short Film Festival in France 2007, Best fiction short movie at International Film Festival “ALCIME” in Aubagne (France) 2007, Best ficton movie at International Student Film Festival “Zlin Dog” in Czech Republic 2007 and Golden Tadpole at Camerimage Film Festival in Poland 2006. “Wild duck season” also took part in over than 50 competitions during international film festivals. In 2007 she was invited to the Polish President Palace as one of most talented young filmmakers. In 2008 she was a member of the jury during International Film Festival Cinema Jove in Spain.
