“CHILD OF DUST” SELECTED FOR THE MAIN COMPETITION OF THE ATLANTA FILM FESTIVAL
"Child of Dust", currently in theatrical distribution in Poland, has been selected for the Main Competition of the prestigious Atlanta Film Festival – one of the longest-running film festivals in the United States and an Oscar®-qualifying event.
Atlanta, often referred to today as the “new Hollywood”, is one of the most important film production hubs in the US, while the festival itself celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2026.
Director Weronika Mliczewska will attend the festival together with the film’s American protagonists and representatives of Fathers Founded, an organisation supporting people born as a result of armed conflicts in their search for their fathers – war veterans.
The competition screening of the film will take place on 2 May.
The director’s participation in the festival has been made possible thanks to the support of the Polish Film Institute.
