  Two remarkable Polish films have been selected for the International Documentary Competition of 66th Krakow Film Festival. “Tickling the Devil” by Piotr Małecki and Maciej Nabrdalik, and “Magic Hour” by Marcin Borchardt, tell the contrasting life stories of two filmmakers for whom filmmaking became a passion and a lifelong commitment, for which both paid a heavy price

• “TRACES” WINS MOVIES THAT MATTER

  “Traces”, directed by Alisa Kovalenko and Marysia Nikitiuk, won the Grand Jury Documentary Award at the Movies That Matter festival, which has just concluded in The Hague.

• PIOTR PAWLUS'S “DEATH IN THE MAKING” TO COMPETE AT VISIONS DU RÉEL

  The latest film by Piotr Pawlus, Death in the Making, has been selected for the official programme of Visions du Réel – one of the world's most significant documentary film festivals. It will be screened in the International Feature Film Competition, with its world premiere scheduled for this year's edition, taking place from 17th to 26th April 2026 in Nyon.
