Both films are produced by Wajda Studio. The film by Aneta Kopacz received two awards at the festival. "Joanna" was appreciated by the audience, who named the document the Best International Short Film. The film also won the Paris-Est Créteil University Award.
Aneta Kopacz, after receiving the award, said: "The Audience Award in a special sense gives meaning to my work, which I pursue with great passion and commitment. I feel very honoured, the more so because I saw many great films during the festival in Creteil. I am also aware of the fact that my film equals, to a large extent, wonderful protagonists. I worked hard to reflect at least in part the atmosphere and beauty of an extraordinary family. I am happy when the audience appreciate it." [quoted after Wajda Studio]
The protagonist of the film by Aneta Kopacz is Joanna Sałyga - the author of the blog "Chustka." A beautiful, intelligent, sensitive woman. Joanna relishes every moment. In spite of the illness and in spite of the sentence - three months left to live. She promises her five-year-old son that she would do anything to be with him as long as possible. She fights. For Jaś, she writes a blog in which she describes their everyday life - in a simple and accurate way. For many readers she becomes an icon of attentive, happy life.
