Last weekend Luxemburg City Film Festival came to an end. The main award for documentary movie went to "Over the Limit" by Marta Prus.

It was a good weekend for Marty Prus, who managed to win two awards at international festivals. First one at ZagrebDox in Criata and another one at LuxFilmFestival in Luxemburg.

In Luxemburg "Over the Limit" received the Documentary Award by BGL BNP Paribas. The jury described the film as "an unconventional and aesthetically astute sports documentary portraying a young woman balancing athletic commitment with personal endurance".

"Over the Limit" portrays a story of Margarita Mamun, an elite Russian rhythmic gymnast, who is struggling to become an Olympic champion. It is the most important year of her career and her last chance to achieve the ultimate goal, the gold Olympic medal in Rio de Janeiro. The film creates a captivating portrait of a young woman who is desperately trying to handle her own ambitions and meet the expectations of the official Russian training system. It offers an exclusive access to the hidden world of the elite gymnastics and a unique insight into the triangle between the young sportswoman and her two trainers. Over the Limit is an intimate drama about the brutal relationships that lead to success.
