This year, the 29th edition of the Italian festival was held. At the event, two Special Mentions went to Polish productions. The first appreciated film is "Dancing For You" by Katarzyna Lesisz, which won the special mention in the international short documentary film category.
The film's protagonist, twelve-year-old Wiktor, is a student of a renowned ballet school. He is preparing for an event which has huge importance in the life of the school and which will determine whether he is promoted to the next grade. All of the teachers and the students' parents take part in this opportunity. Wiktor is accompanied by his grandmother, who is with him also during the rehearsals of the performance. However, Wiktor dreams of his father, who lives abroad, coming to see the play.
The second special mention, this time in the short feature film competition, went to the film "Tremors" by Dawid Bodzak. This is a story about the relationship between two teenagers, full of allusions and understatements.
