A new film by Jerzy Śladkowski has been invited to the Masters section. "Bitter Love" is a Swedish-Finnish-Polish production. A boat trip on the Volga can be a good opportunity to heal a broken heart, experience a fiery romance or repair a broken relationship. A group of Russian men and women, mainly in advanced age, take a break from the hardships of everyday life, take advantage of the excursion attractions and… have a love affair. Before us is a gallery of ordinary and extraordinary characters, often painfully experienced, but still living with hope. The camera observes their great and small dramas with a tender eye, cheering the heroes on finding true love.
