The list of projects qualified for this year's edition of CPH: FORUM has been announced. The Polish-Swiss project So Called Sisterhood by Hanka Nobis is among the selected applications.
Held in Copenhagen, CPH: FORUM is an event that accompanies the CPH: DOX festival. Every year, a total of approximately 40 projects is accepted in several categories, with this year's categories being: Art, Cinema, F: Act, Fictiononfiction, Science, and WIP.
CHP: FORUM is attended not only by documentary and fiction filmmakers, but also journalists, activists, and visual artists looking for financial support and partners on the international market. Every production company may submit a maximum of two projects in development or at an early stage of production.
Hanka Nobis' project "So Called Sisterhood" is a story about Margot, Łania and Lu – young LGBTQ+ activists who have to deal with the oppressive government and conservative Polish society. Esther van Messel from First Hand Films produces the film.
