THREE POLISH SHORT DOCUMENTARIES IN THE INTERNATIONAL CAMERIMAGE COMPETITION

A few days ago, we learned the titles of films that will compete for prizes in the international feature-length documentary competition. Now it is time to find out about short productions. The invited films include Handful of Dirt by Izabela Zubrycka with cinematography by Stefan Żółtowski, Postcards from the Verge by Natalia Koniarz with Stanislaw Cuske behind the camera, and Starsza pani szuka by Maria Wider, with Miłosz Kasiura as this documentary's cinematographer.

EnergaCAMERIMAGE is the largest and most famous festival devoted to the art of cinematography. Thanks to the festival, people have started to recognise that cinematographers co-create the visual side of films – they're artists, just like the director and actors. EnergaCAMERIMAGE is also an excellent forum not only for presentation, but also for discussions on the future of film art. By bringing together already successful filmmakers and helping debutants and students, it allows them to explore new artistic areas.

This year, the short documentaries invited to the international competition include Handful of Dirt by Izabela Zubrycka with cinematography by Stefan Żółtowski, Postcards from the Verge by Natalia Koniarz with Stanislaw Cuske behind the camera, and Old Summer by Maria Wider, with Miłosz Kasiura as this documentary's cinematographer.
