POLISH PROJECTS AT BALTIC SEA DOCS
Baltic by Iga Lis's and the Polish-Latvian-Estonian project Nord Express by Kārlis Lesiņš are among the documentary projects invited to this year's edition of the Industry Baltic Sea Docs.
Baltic Sea Docs is a pitching session combined with workshops and film screenings. The forum is intended for films from the Baltic countries and for those produced in other countries but related to the Baltic region through their subject matter. This year, the event is scheduled for 5–10 September in Riga.
The organisers have announced the list of projects that qualified to participate in the forum. Among them is Iga Lis's Baltic, produced by Stanisław Zaborowski and Justyna Gawełko from Silver Frame.
In the BSD 'Coming Soon' section, there is the Polish co-production Nord Express directed by Kārlis Lesiņš. The production team includes Elīna Gediņa-Ducena, Gints Grūbe from Mistrus Media, Allfilm, as well as Staroń Film and Gebrueder Beetz.
