„SOMETIMES I DREAM I’M FLYING” AWARDED WITH GOLD PANDA AWARD

This year’s edition of the International Gold Panda Documentary Festival ended on 25 November. The winner of the the Gold Panda Award for Documentary for the Best director is Aneta Popiel-Machnicka, awarded for her film “Sometimes I dream I’m flying”.

International Gold Panda Documentary Festival held in Chengdu in China is one of the biggest documentary film festivals in Asia. This year’s edition of the festival was held from 23 to 25 November. The documentary “Sometimes I dream I’m flying” directed by Aneta Popiel-Machnicka has been awarded with the Gold Panda Award for Documentary for the Best Director. The director was present in Chengdu and received the Gold Panda statuette.

„Sometimes I dream I’m flying” tells the story of Weronika, a talented and very ambitious ballet dancer. Her ballet career and education, including ups and downs, make a documentary treaty on beauty and its fragility.
