„FIRST POLE ON MARS” WINS IN HOLAND
“First Pole on Mars” by Agnieszka Elbanowska won an award for The Best Short Documentary Film on Dutch festival DOCfeed which ended on February 19th.
DOCfeed Documentary Film Festival is new but quickly developing film event in Eindhoven. During its fourth edition the award for The Best Short Documentary was granted to Agnieszka Elbanowska for her film “First Pole on Mars”.
"First Pole on Mars" tells a story of Kazimierz, aged 68, who is mounting a device for communication with the Cosmos. At the same space-time, the fight for participation in the historic Mars One project begins. Kazimierz has a chance of becoming one of the first colonisers of Mars. But first he must overcome some three thousand other applicants...
