OPEN CALL FOR THE POLISH ACADEMY OF DOCUMENT IN MINSK

Documentary projects can now be submitted for the Dragon Forum Session in Minsk. The session is prepared with Belarussian filmmakers in mind, but Dragon Forum welcome projects from other countries too. The workshops will be lead by world renowned experts, who will help participants in developing their projects for the international documentary market.


On the 1st of July Poland took over the presidency of the EU. As a part of the cultural programme International Academy of Document Dragon Forum organises special sessions in Kiev, Minsk and Moscow (deadlines below). The aim of the Academy is to prepare filmmakers for cooperation in the international coproduction market. Along with workshops program of the Academy also includes „Art of Document” film screenings, Master Classes, Case Studies, trial pitching and bilateral conferences of documentary filmmakers.


Dragon Forum is primarily about intense discussion and documenting reality, creative work in good company, making connections and becoming familiar with international film market.


Polish Academy of Document is organized by Dragon Forum in cooperation with festival Listapad.


Deadlines:

Kiev Session (4-8 October 2011), call open until 4th of September
Minsk Session (8-12 November 2011), call open until 2nd of October
Moscow Session (6-10 December 2011), call open utill 16th of October
