THE LOVE EQUATION OF HENRY FAST

The film shows a lonely life of a retired professor of mathematics. Henryk is a hopeless romantic, a hostage of love, Don Juan ready to sacrifice everything, which he has done more than once, in order to find reciprocated love. When, towards the end of the film, the protagonist’s daughter asks him, ‘So what are you going to do now?,’ he says, ‘I would like to find a woman, but if it was that simple, there would not be so many unhappy, lonely people’.

Director, editor and photographer. She graduated from the University of Warsaw's Italian Department, from the History, Theory and Criticism of Cinema and Audiovisual Department of the Roma Tre University, from the Academy of Film and Television in Warsaw, and from the Wajda School. She has collaborated with Polish Television, and has co-created documentary films for TVP Polonia ("Liberta", "Prelude"). Her latest film, “The Love Equation of Henry Fast” was awarded on national and international festivals.
