POLISH DOCS

The polishdocs.pl website is a comprehensive hub for information on Polish documentary cinema. It features up-to-date news on films screening at festivals, a calendar of submissions and industry events, promotional materials, and a continuously updated database of Polish documentary productions. The Reading Room section includes articles, reviews, and interviews with filmmakers, offering insight into the creative process and the artistic contexts behind these films.

The Polish Docs PRO project, launched in 2007 by the Krakow Film Foundation, is dedicated to the international promotion of Polish documentary films and to supporting filmmakers in reaching international markets. The project encompasses presentations of Polish documentaries at international festivals and markets, delegations of Polish producers to major industry events, and showcases of projects in development or production stage at pitch sessions and professional forums, as well as workshops, lectures, and industry presentations.

The polishdocs.pl website is run and developed with financial support from the Polish Film Institute.
