BORIS DORFMAN - A MENTSCH

The mission of Boris Dorfman, a 90-year-old author and expert in Jewish culture, is to save the memory of the Jews of Lviv. Before World War II Lviv was a multi-ethnic city. Today, Dorfman himself is perceived as a relic of that period. He shows the spectator around the places that still bear the traces of the past. An attempt to save the history of one’s ancestors is also a struggle for one’s own memory.
