The protagonists of the film are immigrants who, during the period of martial law in the 80s Poland, emigrated to Sweden. There is one thing that Tadeusz and Krystyna have in common apart from the difficult past - their prescription drugs addiction. The footage presented in the film was collected between many years. Throughout the film we see our protagonists struggling with their addiction, both to drugs and to each other.

Director, producer. Born and raised in Sweden, he graduated from SWPS (University of Social Sciences and Humanities) located in the capital of Poland. He gained experience working on short films and attending the classes of a polish documentary filmmaker, Maria Zmarz-Koczanowicz. He began his work with visual medium through photography. Bartosz doesn’t possess a certificate of graduating from a film school. He is self-taught, and his knowledge comes from a careful observation of the world around him and intuition. He was assistant in mockumentary Fire-Followers of Karolina Breguła. He treats „PILL JUNKIES” as his film debut, and he is responsible for all cinematography in the film.
