COTTON DREAMS
Over the past 15 years, more than 250,000 farmers in India have committed suicide as a result of drastic changes in the climate and the development of agricultural technology, they were unable to keep up with transformations, and they fell into debt. This is an empathetic portrait of a poor widow from the village of Thanegaon in Western India whose husband committed suicide after the complete loss of the crops that were to provide for his family. At the same time, it is the story of their loving relationship.
