Alisa is 26 when the revolution starts in Kiev. She’s a student of film school, but above all, she’s Ukrainian.
This film describes her journey from Euromaidan to the war in the East. It’s a sensitive diary of young woman lost in the shaky world. Living picture of her tragic experiences, feelings, pains.
Alisa was taken captive by separatists, who thought she was sniper from Ukrainian army. She is not just a director anymore, she becomes a participant of the events.
It's also film about love between Alisa and her French boyfriend, will love survive the danger?

Alisa Kovalenko is an award-winning Ukrainian screenwriter and documentary film director,and a member of the European Film Academy and the Ukrainian Film Academy. She studiedat the National Film University in Kyiv and at the Wajda School in Warsaw.Alisa’s debut documentary, Alisa in Warland, had its world premiere at IDFA — the world’slargest documentary film festival — in Amsterdam in 2015. Her documentary Home Games,portraying a young Ukrainian football player, premiered at Sheffield Doc/Fest, was selectedfor IDFA, and became the first Ukrainian creative documentary acquired by Netflix.Following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Alisa joined the Ukrainian Volunteer Army. Born in 1986 in Kharkov. Graduated from the Moscow State University at the Department of Mines and Petroleum. Now she studies Documentary Directing at I. Karpenko - Karego State University of Theatre, Film and Television in Kiev. She worked as a costume designer and journalist. She directed several student films such as: "Wałodzia", "Teacher of History" and "Julia, her men and illusions".
