KOKA

On the coast of the Bering Sea, where time has stopped, a father and son make a living by fishing. They live in austere, almost ascetic conditions where the rhythm of life is determined by successive fishing trips. Since his earliest years, Koka has been mastering the practical skills of survival in the difficult conditions in this part of the globe under the vigilant eye of his father. Nevertheless, when freed from his duties, he goes back to the carefree world of his childhood. Shot with tenderness, it is an intimate story about the relationship between a father and son where care and love are mixed with rigour and discipline.
