Office worker, crossing guard, painter, performer, accountant - social choir classes are open for everyone and singing skills are not required. The goal of the community is to release life and artistic energy. The meetings are attended among others by: Laura - an artist struggling with congenital bone fragility, constantly accompanied by her mother Małgosia, an incurable optimist Kamil and Przemek, who after the divorce loses daily contact with his children. 


"Three chants" is a film about singing yourself out, breaking a negative cycle and finding solace in community with other people.

Krzysztof Nowicki »

Krzysztof Nowicki was born in 1980 in Bydgoszcz (Poland). Director, screenwriter and producer. Since his student days he has been creating independent cinema. He was the founder of the Stealtheapple film group, and in 2007 he launched Koloroffon. For the last dozen or so years, he has been creating short documentary films that have been presented and awarded at festivals in Poland and abroad ("The Oldest Man in the World", "The Swimming Pool", "The cinema was here", "21", "Homestay"). Premiere of his last film titled "Leocadia's dream" took place at Hot Docs in Toronto in 2018. The film was presented at several international festivals. "Three chants" is his debut in a feature length documentary.
