KANTH
Kanth is a short documentary that brings up the subject of what can be called post-German. From the perspective of a Polish town - Kąty Wrocławskie - two young filmmakers investigate the remains of the German presence through close interviews with the locals and field research. Kanth is a story about the nearly forgotten and the duality of a land told by the town itself.

Kasia Pluskota (23) is a filmmaker from Wrocław, living in the Netherlands. Her work explores themes of national identity, often addressing the subject of blurring borders. She has made two short documentaries, including her debut, Kanth, which premiered in the main competition category at the Nederlands Film Festival. During her undergraduate studies at the Willem de Kooning Academy, Kasia spent eight months as an exchange student in Santiago de Chile, studying cinema at Universidad Mayor. She shot her thesis film, Red Soil, in the Argentine province of Misiones, where she explored the Polish diaspora in a changing South America. Currently, Kasia works as a researcher for a renowned Amsterdam-based director and is pursuing a Master's degree in Visual Ethnography at Leiden University.
