Barbara and Józef are a homeless married couple who are always on the road in search of a place to settle
down. Józef was previously married, but his marriage soon fell apart, and as a result he lost the roof over his head. He has lived this way for fourteen years. Barbara has also had very bad experiences with marriage. They travel through a changing landscape, they are dignified, beautiful and free, like the protagonists of Takeshi Kitano’s “The Dolls.”
