INTERNATIONAL PREMIERE OF „FATHER AND SON” IN MOSCOW

Moscow Film Festival – one of the most important film festivals in Europe – has just begun. Although it’s known mainly as a feature film festival, documentaries also form part of its programme. This year two of them are Polish productions.

The film “Father and son” by Paweł Łoziński, recently awarded with the Silver Horn at 53rd Krakow Film Festival will be screened in the competitive section "Free Thought". All the films from this section will be watched and discussed by the international jury formed by: Claas Danielsen, Coco Schrijber and Sergiej Dworcewoj. The winner will be awarded with the Saint George statuette and 5000 dollars. The screening in Moscow will be the international premiere of the film.

Another Polish production has been included in the non-competitive Wild Night section: widely known “Fuck for Forest” by Michał Marczak, already shown at many different international festivals.

There will be some Polish accents in other competitive sections too – „Traffic department” by Wojtek Smarzowski will be show in the main competitive section and „The last floor” by Tadeusz Król – in the “Around the World” section.
