POLISH STAND AT SUNNY SIDE OF THE DOC

On June 25th the international documentary film market Sunny Side of the Doc will begin in La Rochelle (France). It’s one of the biggest film industry events focused on documentaries and every year it’s visited by film commissioners, distributors and producers from all around the world. It’s seventh time now that Poland has its stand at the market.

As every year, Poland will be among the exhibitors in La Rochelle. The Polish Docs stand will present, for the seventh time,  the newest Polish documentaries to the representatives of the film industry from all around the world. The accredited Polish producers from companies such as Staron-Film, Wajda Studio and Wajda School, Ragusa Films, Hanna Polak Films and Balabusta will have an opportunity to offer their recent films and projects. There will be also Krakow Film Festival and Krakow Film Market representatives present at the stand.

Sunny Side of the Doc is one of the most important events that promote documentary productions in Europe. The market offers the possibility of complex films promotion, from presentation of projects at the production phase to promotion of already produced films. It is a meeting point of producers, festival organizers, distributors and broadcasters representatives responsible for selling and buying documentary films. Accredited professionals can also take part in numerous seminars, meetings Or discussions dealing with the current topics related to the Word documentary production.

International guests visiting Polish stand will receive all the necessary infromation regarding Polish film productions as well as the catalogue of the newest Polish films from 2011, 2012 and 2013 and the 2013 edition of the “Polish Docs” DVD which includes a selection of Polish documentaries.
