"TWO WORLDS" AWARDED IN THE USA
The film "Two Worlds" by Maciej Adamek can boast yet another success. At the United Nations Association Film Festival in the USA, the documentary film was given the award for best cinematography.
Mateusz Skalski, the author of the cinematography for the film "Two Worlds," was given the Stanford Video Award for Cinematography at the United Nations Association Film Festival in the USA. At the festival, 55 documentary films from around the world were shown.
This is yet another award for the film in the USA. Recently, the film was given the Best Feature Documentary Award at Rhode Island Film Festival, and Laura Gontarczyk - the film's protagonist - won the Most Remarkable Young Person on Screen Award at Harlem Film Festival in New York.
"Two Worlds" is a portrait of a family in which the parents are deaf, and their daughter Laura can hear. It is the 12-year-old Laura who is our guide through their lives. Non-typical life, but at the same time ordinary like the life of every family.
The film was co-financed by Polish Film Institute. The film is produced by Jacek Kucharski from Metro Films and TVP 2.
