FESTIVALS IN DECEMBER

Before the festivals go for a holiday break in December, Polish documentary films will manage to appear at several international screenings. Check out where you can watch Polish productions for the last time this year.

Still in November, started the festival Poitiers in France, where the animated film "A Documentary Film" by Marcin Podolec was invited to the competition. You can also watch this film in Georgia at Tbilisi International Film Festival, in Bangladesh at the International Short and Independent Film Festival, as well as at BogoShorts in Colombia. There, the following films will also be shown: "A Piece of Summer" by Marta Minorowicz, "Snails" by Grzegorz Szczepaniak, "Football Brothers" by Marcin Filipowicz, "Last Season" by Sławomir Witek and "Before the Dawn" by Łukasz Borowski.

Also at the end of November, in Italy started the festival dei Popoli, at which you can see "Close Ties" by Zofia Kowalewska and "You Have No Idea How Much I Love You" by Paweł Łoziński.  In contrast, at the festival Barcelona Human Rights, which lasts until December 10, the film "A Brave Bunch. Children of Warsaw Uprising" by Tomasz Stankiewicz will vie in the competition.

At the beginning of December started the Bulgarian festival In the Palace, where "The Last Trick" by Marcin Nowak will be shown. Then, also at the festival Mumia - Underground World Animation Festival in Brazil, the animated documentary film "The Gentle Giant" by Marcin Podolec will appear, and in Russia, at the festival ArtDoc Fest, "Brothers" by Wojciech Staroń and "Icon" by Wojciech Kasperski will feature.

A couple of days later, at the festival in Baghdad, "Super Unit" by Teresa Czepiec will be shown, and in Iran, at the documentary film festival Cinema Verite  - "Second Life" by Eugeniusz Pankov. In Romania, "Education" by Emi Buchwald is invited to the programme of the festival Cinemaiubit.

"Jurek" by Paweł Wysoczański will go to the mountain film festival PIMFF in Pakistan, whereas "Marina" by Marcin Lesisz will go to GDZDOC in China.

The last festival screening this month is "Object" by Paulina Skibińska, which will be shown at the 28th Istanbul International Short Film Festival in Turkey.
