"YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH I LOVE YOU" AWARDED IN BARCELONA

At the end of May, the festival DocsBarcelona ended. In Spain, the film by Paweł Łoziński, "You Have No Idea How Much I Love You" was awarded.

DocsBarcelona is one of the most important documentary film festivals in Spain. This year, the films included in the programme were, among others, two animated documentary films by Marcin Podolec, "A Documentary Film" and "The Gentle Giant," as well as "21 x New York City" by Piotr Stasik, "Brothers" by Wojciech Staroń and "You Have No Idea How Much I Love You" by Paweł Łoziński, In Barcelona, the documentary film by Łoziński won the What the Doc Award - ex aequo with the film "Women and the Glacier" by Audrius Stonys.

In the film "You Have No Idea How Much I Love You," Paweł Łoziński invites us to participate in private therapy sessions. In an intimate conversation of three people, old wounds and deeply hidden emotions of the protagonists slowly come to the surface. Will it be possible for them to leave the circle of long-standing grudges? Or to cut the umbilical cord connecting them without risking losing their bond? In the safe environment of the consulting-room, the therapist takes the protagonists on a difficult journey into themselves and at the same time, towards better mutual relationship. We watch closely the spiritual process of untangling the ties which cumulated with the passage of time. Is there  a chance to heal the "scar left by the mother" on both sides of the severed umbilical cord?

In Barcelona,  another award-winner is the project of the film "Kobiety z kiosku" by Daniel Stopa, produced by the company Staroń Film. The project was chosen the best work-in-progress at DocsBarcelona SpeedPitch. This year, about 40 projects participated in the pitching session in Barcelona.
