"OVER THE LIMIT" WITH MORE AWARDS
The last months has been very successful for Marta Prus and her film "Over the Limit". Apart from the five awards at the Krakow Film Festival the documentary was also awarded at CineDoc in Tbilisi and at the festival in Sevastopol.
It has been a great time for Marta Prus who managed to win two more awards at international festivals: the first one at CineDoc Tbilisi in Georgia where the film received the special jury mention, and the other one in Sevastopol at the International Festival of Documentary Films and TV Programs "Winning Together" where the documentary won the festival's Grand Prix.
"Over the Limit" is an intimate drama about brutal relations that lead to success. It is a portrait of a Russian rhythmic gymnast Margarita Mamun. The film presents a crucial year in her life: Margarita has a once-in-a-lifetime chance to represent her country at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro and win a golden Olympic medal. We get a unique opportunity to see the everyday training regime from the inside and discover a special bond between Margarita and her two coaches - Amina Zaripova and Irina Viner.
