POLISH DOCUMENTARIES AT TRENTO FILM FESTIVAL
Three Polish documents were included in the competition program of the extremely prestigious Trento festival. This year's festival will start at the end of August.
Established in 1952, the Trento Film Festival is the oldest film event entirely devoted to mountains and exploration themes. In addition to climbing challenges and moving deeper into the caves, there are also topics related to the environment and ecology. The program includes both documentaries, full-length feature films and short film forms that showcase the relationship between man and nature, but also about nature itself.
Three Polish documentary films have been invited to this year's competition. The short film "The Though" directed by Marcin Polar and two full-length productions - "The Last Mountain" by Dariusz Załuski and "Wind. A Documentary Thriller "by Michał Bielawski.
Due to the pandemic, the Trento Film Festival was moved from spring to late summer and will take place from August 27 to September 2.
More information about the festival can be found on its official website.
