DANIEL STOPA TO TAKE PART IN IDFA ACADEMY
A Polish filmmaker has secured a coveted spot amongst the creators set to participate in the IDFA Academy training programme, held during the prestigious Amsterdam festival.
The IDFA Academy is an intensive training scheme for up-and-coming documentary filmmakers and producers. Held annually each November during IDFA, the IDFAcademy provides emerging filmmakers with the golden opportunity to meet with a diverse array of esteemed documentary professionals, who are more than eager to share their industry wisdom. The next IDFAcademy is slated to run from 14 to 17 November 2024.
Daniel Stopa, born in 1988 in Olkusz, is a director, screenwriter, and producer. A graduate of the Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School of the University of Silesia in Katowice. His short film Skinny has been screened at numerous international festivals, including Bogoshorts in Colombia, Camerimage in Poland, and DokuFest in Kosovo. Kiosk marks his documentary debut.
