CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: PRODUCERS MEET PRODUCERS AT FIPADOC 2026
FIPADOC has announced the opening of applications for the upcoming edition of Producers Meet Producers, one of the festival’s key industry initiatives designed to support the development of international co-productions and to strengthen professional networks across Europe. The sessions will take place on 27 January 2026, while the festival itself will run from 23 to 31 January.
As every year, the organisers invite documentary producers from three designated regions: Spain and Portugal, the Balkans, and the Visegrad Group countries (Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary). Participation in the call is free of charge.
Producers Meet Producers is a unique, carefully curated initiative aimed at connecting French producers with their international counterparts who are seeking partners for co-production. The programme consists of three separate sessions, each dedicated to a different European region. The meetings are facilitated by experienced matchmakers who support participants in identifying suitable partners and initiating early development discussions.
Application Criteria
Eligible applicants are documentary producers who:
• come from one of the targeted territories,
• have at least one creative documentary project in development with international co-production potential - particularly with France (up to two projects may be submitted),
• are willing to obtain industry accreditation and participate in person in the FIPADOC Industry Days in Biarritz from 26 to 29 January 2026.
Selection will be based on the producer’s profile as well as the co-production potential of the submitted projects. The sessions will be held in English and will be open only to accredited participants.
Thanks to the support of the Visegrad Fund, the organisers will cover the cost of two nights of accommodation for each selected producer from the V4 countries.
The application deadline is 19 December 2025.
