POLISH PROJECT AT DOK. INCUBATOR
We know the titles of the projects which will take part in the workshops at DOK. Incubator. One of the selected titles is a Polish project "21 x New York" by Piotr Stasik.
This year, DOK.Incubator received a record-breaking number of submissions, projects came from all over the world, including South America and Asia. Eight projects have been selected to join the workshops. Among the films qualified to participate in DOK. Incubator, there is a Polish production - "21x New York" by Piotr Stasik, produced by Agnieszka Wasik (Lava Films) and edited by Przemysław Chruścielewski.
"21x New York" is a documentary symphony about the city and about life. We get acquainted with this mythical city through intimate stories of its 21 inhabitants. Some of the characters are represented only by one sentence or event, others are observed for a longer time. We start in the subway. And we follow the most interesting protagonists further. Original, sometimes strange stories lead to the philosophical question: how to live?
DOK.Incubator is an intensive, five-month long series of international editing, marketing and distribution workshops. The workshops are divided into three week-long sessions: the first is held in the Czech Republic at the end of May, the second - in August in Slovakia and the last one in October at the festival DOK. Leipzig.
