Sundance Documentary Fund is one of the key elements of the Documentary Film Program, run by the Sundance Institute. The fund is dedicated to film-makers working on documentary projects dealing with contemporary subject matter, characterised by originality and innovativeness in presenting the subject, and which have the potential to engage the viewers. Every year, the fund gives grants the total value of which amounts to a million or two million dollars. From among 2000 submissions, which come to the Sundance Documentary Fund every year, grants are given to between 40 and 60 of the best projects.

The Sundance Documentary Fund grants are awarded in three categories: for development of the project, for production and post-production and for distribution.

This year, the Polish-British project "All these sleepless nights" by Michał Marczak got the subsidy for post-production. The film's Polish producer is Marta Golba (Endorfina Studio).
