"OPERA ABOUT POLAND" WINS IN JIHLAVA
Last Sunday the 21st Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival came to an end. Polish film "Opera about Poland" by Piotr Stasik was among the winners.
The most recent Piotr Stasik's documentary "Opera about Poland" was chosen the Best Central and Eastern European Documentary Film in "Between the Seas" competition section. The film had its world premiere at this year's Krakow Film Festival, where the director received the Special Mention from the International Documentary Competition Jury. The screening being a part of the MFFD Ji.hlava competition was the international premiere of the film.
It is yet another success of Polish documentary film in Jihlava after the film "Dust" by Jakub Radej has won the Silver Eye award.
