THE GOLFER
POLISH TITLE: GOLFISTA
Stanisław Aronson was born in Warsaw to a well-off family of assimilated Jews. During the war he was a member of 'Kolegium A', an elite unit of Kedyw, which was Polish underground movement under Nazi Germany. He took part in numerous acts of sabotage and fought in the Warsaw Uprising. To escape persecution by the communist secret police, he fled to Israel, where he participated in Israeli-Arab wars. The film presents a portrait of Aronson, who talks about his life and the choices he had to make.
