"TWO WORLDS" AWARDED IN ESTONIA

Pärnu Documentary Film Festival has just finished in Estonia. Maciej Adamek's film "Two Worlds" was awarded at the festival.

Pärnu International Documentary and Anthropology Film Festival took place in Estonia for the 32nd time. This year the Best Doc For Kids award went to "Two Worlds" by Maciej Adamek. It is yet another award won by the documentary - "Two Worlds" were already presented at around 80 festivals around the world and won over 20 awards (including awards at Rhode Island Film Festival, Chicago Children’s Film Festival, Harlem Film Festival, United Nations Association Film Festival, Wales International Documentary Festival, New York Film Festivals and Tv Awards, Greenpoint Film Festival, FaitoDOC Festival and Jakarta International Film Festival).

"Two Worlds" is a family portrait of deaf parents and their healthy daughter Laura. The 12-year-old girl is our guide through their life. The life that is unusual yet normal as in case of any family.

The film was co-financed by the Polish Film Institute. Producers are Jacek Kucharski from Metro Films and TVP 2. The DOP was Mateusz Skalski, the editor Sławek Goździk and the sound engineers Mariusz Bielecki and Przemek Jaworski.
