Doc Edge International Documentary Film Festival is An event taking place in New Zealand, showcasing short and long documentaries. The organizers focus on the quality of films, they also care about diversity and topics that inspire social change. The festival qualifies for the awards of the American Film Academy. This year's edition took place online.

The action of the awarded documentary "Long Day Tommorow" takes place in Jeevodaya. This city that hosts an educational and treatment center for lepers and their families. It was here that, thirty years ago, Helena Pyz came from Poland to help sick and hungry children. Over the years, she feels her weakness more and more clearly, but her strength of character prevents her from giving up on her own illness. Long-term documentary observation allows us to understand what was the unique role of a missionary and doctor. Surrounded by reckless people, Dr. Helena seems to be the only person who notices the meaning of the center's activities and its selfless character.
