PLUS CAMERIMAGE 2011 – SUBMIT THE FILM
The call for entries for the 19th edition of PLUS CAMERIMAGE is now open. The festival will be held from the 26th of November to the 3rd of December. Documentary films will be qualified to one of two categories: short and feature length.
The aim of the Documentary Films Competition "Image of the World - World in Images" under the patronage of Discovery Networks CEEMEA is to recognize a documentary film as a creative interpretation of the reality. Putting an emphasis on the visual and aesthetic aspects of a work, the organizers evaluate the best achievements in the field of cinematography, awarding the authors of photography of the competitive documentary films.
The competition is divided into two independent categories:
* short films - up to 60 minutes running time
* feature length films - more than 60 minutes running time
Documentary entries for both categories will be submitted on a common entry form and will be qualified to the appropriate category by the organizers, based on the running time of the film. Each category will be judged by a separate international jury that will choose winners of:

* GRAND PRIX in the Short Films Category - Golden Frog
* Special Mention in the Short Films Category - Plus Camerimage Statuette
the Feature Length Films Category of Documentary Films Competition
* GRAND PRIX in the Feature Length Films Category - Golden Frog
* Special Mention in the Feature Length Films Category - Plus Camerimage Statuette
The authors, producers and distributors are invited to submit the films to the selection. You have to fill in the online Entry Form and send the required materials until September 30th, 2011.
