POLISH DOCS PRO DELEGATION AT CPH:DOX INDUSTRY 2025
CPH:DOX is a celebration of cinema that has taken place in Copenhagen since 2003. It is the third largest documentary film event in the world. For many years, the festival has been accompanied by the industry event CPH:Industry. This year there will be a Polish delegation organised as part of the Polish Docs PRO project.
This year's edition of CPH:Industry will take place from 19 to 30 March. A Polish delegation of filmmakers and producers will visit Copenhagen to meet the international industry during the CPH:FORUM and numerous one-on-one meetings and networking events.
As part of CPH:Industry, there are a number of events dedicated to financing or co-productions (CPH:FORUM, CPH:ROUGHCUT and CHANGE), sales and distribution (CPH: Market), as well as many presentations and networking events aimed at finding international partners. As part of this year's CPH:Forum, the Polish project 'Words We Never Say' by Agnieszka Zwiefka, produced by Agnieszka Zwiefka and Izabela Igel (Chilli Productions), will be presented.

In addition, two Polish co-productions will have their world premieres in the festival programme. Alisa Kovalenko's new documentary ‘My Dear Theo’, produced by Haka Films, will be presented for the first time in the Danish festival's main competition, the DOX:AWARD. The Icelandic-Polish documentary 'The Ground Beneath Our Feet' by Yrsa Roci Fannberg with cinematography by Wojciech Staroń, co-produced by Staron Film, has been invited to the NORDIC: DOX AWARD competition. The Polish Docs Pro Delegation is organised by the Krakow Film Foundation and is co-financed by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland from the Culture Promotion Fund and the Polish Film Institute. Partners are the Krakow Festival Office and the Krakow Film Commission.
The project Polish Docs PRO focuses primarily on a wide promotion of Polish documentary film industry at international events addressed to film professionals. It supports film-makers and producers in developing their projects by facilitating access to the markets abroad, co-coordinating the trips of delegations to the pitching forums and co-production markets, organising the presentations of projects, production models and co-production opportunities with Poland, organising networking meetings, participation in lectures, panel discussions, workshops and training sessions. The aim of the Polish Docs PRO is to establish the brand of Polish documentary film in the international film environment and to develop international co-operation.
